The portrait has arrived and I'm just so thrilled with it. Such a time resurrection of my dearest Woddy after nearly 25 years. My great grandfather was in on the first breeding of Jack Russells. The Rev.J Russell was the rector of his parish in Swinbridge, N Devon and a passionate hunter. The dogs were bred small enough to pursue foxes down their earths. The local pub is still called the ''Jack Russell'' JH
