I made her close her eyes while I unveiled it, and then upon seeing it she burst into tears. And then I did too. After several minutes and a lot of tissues, mum asked me to tell you that you have exactly captured Sarah’s spirit, her soul, and her kindness.

She loves it - we couldn’t have got her anything better for her birthday. For my part, the wonderful person who was my sister shines through that picture, and I am amazed by what you have achieved - from a fairly dreadful photo, my sister’s beautiful smile, and her kind eyes, are there in your brilliant picture. When I saw it for the first time it just took my breath away, and I could not stop looking at it – it was like my Dad was actually in the room with me, and is just so wonderful. I just know though that Mum will absolutely love it and so will my sister and brother. In fact, I think they might all cry when they see it as it’s such a good and true likeness.

This is of my niece and is fantastic likeness. Nicola was very pleased as she had Charlie since she was 13 and was very, very upset to lose him. She was gobsmacked with the fine detail and was amazed that you were able to put life into the eyes of two of her favourite horses that are sadly no longer with us.

Oh my goodness!!! Sally the portrait is absolutely amazing. The preview picture on the computer was fantastic, but to actually see the ’real’ thing was out of this world.

I am amazed at how well you have captured us all. I cannot stop looking at Oscar; the eyes and expression are just him. I am going to the picture framers this morning and ca\’t wait to show it off. I was so excited when I opened it that I just couldn’t wait to give it to my husband who, as you know didn’t have a clue I was having it done. Well ’surprised’ is an understatement. He just sat there and stared at it for a good while. It was meant to go in his office but we both agree that it needs to take pride of place in the lounge for all to see. Thank you so much Sally.
