How much does a custom pet portrait cost?

Prices here are for Head Studies If you'd like a quote for a full body portrait or other "Special Commission" please contact Sally with you photo(s). Dog and Cat Portraits are approximately life-size for best effect and all work is supplied unframed.

How do I pay and can I see my portrait first?

To ensure you're happy it's a true likeness, you'll preview your custom pet portrait on-line prior to payment and dispatch. A deposit is not usually required. You can then pay by bank transfer, cheque or PayPal and payment is due on completion.

How do I purchase a Portrait Gift Voucher?

Purchase a Pet Portrait Gift Voucher via PayPal and a personalised Gift Card and will be sent out the same day.

How long does a pet portrait take to complete?

Your portrait will usually be completed within 4-12 weeks, a definite completion date can be given at the time of ordering. Shorter deadlines can often be met for special occasions, so please ask if you think you've left it too late.

How will you send my portrait?

Portraits are carefully packed flat to avoid damage and are sent by Special Delivery, alternatively you are welcome to collect.

Where can I read Customer Feedback and Testimonials?

Do you have any tips for getting the best photos of my pet?

These photo taking tips will help you get the best possible results but as long as your photos are clear, you can be sure of a true likeness. Alternatively, if you can bring your pet to Kirkoswald, Sally will take a series of photos to work from at no extra charge. She enjoys meeting her customers and their pets.

How do I search for a specific portrait on portraits4pets.com?

You can search for portraits done between 2010-2020 by dog breed or pet's name The Gallery Archive includes all portraits form 2000 - 2010. The A-Z of Dog Breeds includes portraits of the top 100 dog breeds.

What else do I need to know before ordering a custom pet portrait?

Please note that by commissioning a portrait you are entering into a contract and payment will be due on completion. A deposit may be requested at the discretion of the artist, especially for overseas and multiple orders. You must be over 18 to place an order.
